Hiring a coach
Initially you have a rookie coach. For the first few days this may be enough as you will be able to train your players. You can hire a coach negotiating with a free coach, directly to a rookie coach or ordering an agent to you find a more experiement coach.
When negotiating with a free coach you have to offer him a weekly salary, you can see his last salary to have an idea of how much to offer him. Notice that a coach can negotiate with several teams but you can only negotiate with one coach at a time. You can see how many offers a coach has and when he will take his decission. The coach will respond in about 24 hours since his first offer. You will see his decission in your recent events sections, both if the coach accepted the offer or not. If you think your offer is too low you can update your offer but only for raising it. If the best offer is too low, the coach will reject all the offer, he has a reputation to maintain.
Rookie coaches are generaly worse than free coaches but they will accept your proposal inmediatly, they are looking forward to start training. Possibly a rookie coach is not better than your original coach, but it could be interesting if you have to fire a coach who charges too much and no experienced coach is available, at least it will allow you to continue training
Coaches skills
Coaches improve theirs skills as the get experience. You can decide which skill your coach is focus and so the new experience is used in that skill. Coaches have the following skills:
- Training: This skill determinates how fast or slow yoour players will improve with training. The higher your coach is the faster your players will improve
- Leadership: Leadership determinates how close your players will follow your orders during a match. For instance, with low leadership your players could end up throwing more treys that you would like.
- Motivation: Motivation helps to counteract the effect of public in your players.
- Attack: This skill makes your players performs better in attack.
- Defense: This skill makes your players performs better in defense.
Training
Your players can train whenever you have coach. In the training section you can select a weekly training schedule. You can also see the previous week and the next week. Take into account that you can not train in match days.
To change a given training you have to click on the training to change and select the new training from the list. You can change the training in different days but do not forget to confirm your changes clicking on the "Update" button.
It is important to watch the vitality of your players. A player that finish a training exhausted will miss that training, as he will not be able to assimilate that training. It is therefore important resting your players appropiately. Vitality is also important during matches, as it will determinate how fast players get tired during matches. In the training calendar you can see whether a player had an incidence in a training.
All the non injure players receives training. Training and matches are independent.
You can select the training intensity that is between 1 and 100. The more intense the more efficient a training is but also more exhausting, requiring therefore a better condition in your players (or more rest). You are in charge of properly select an intensity value. Of course, you can change the intensity of your next trainings. Finally, take into accout that the more tired your players are and the worst condition your players are the more chances they have of a minor injure.
Training types
You can select among the following types of training:
- Shoots: Players improve theirs long distance shoot skill.
- Inner shoot: Players improve theirs inner shoot skill.
- Technique: Players improve theirs technique skill
- Passing: Players improve theirs passing skill.
- Defense: Players improve theirs defense skill.
- Condition: Players improve theirs condition. Notice that this training is more intense than others and so your players will get more tired
- Rebounds: Players improve theirs rebound skill
- Rest: Players recover vitality in this non training day.
- Bath and massage: You can only do this training if you have a physio in your staff. This training is more effective than Rest.
Daily trainings
The daily training is executed every day without match. You can see in your country section the daily training schedule and also the recent activities. Daily training effect are not inmedialely you have to wait until the weekly training to see your players progress. However, your players obtain vitality both with Rest and Bath and Massage.
Weekly training
The weekly training is executed once a week. In the weekly training your players assimilate all the training done along the week. You can check the result of the weekly training to see whether a player has raised a skill in the training page. Notice that skills are not integers but has decimals, so it is more than possible that your players improve theirs skills although you cannot see that progress, as you can only see whether a player changed the integer part of a skill. For instance, a player can improve his rebound skill from 5.6 to 5.8 but you will not see in the report. Another player could improve his skill from 5.9 to 6.0 and then you will see it.
As players gain trainings theirs skills slowly improve. The gained training depend on the following factors:
- The training intensity, the more intensity the more gain. The progress in proportional to the intensity
- The coach level. Better coaches help players to improve theirs skills faster
- The age of the player. Younger players train faster than other older players. Think that older players have a lot of bad habits to change.
Conditioning and Confidence
Both conditioning and condidence and calculated during the weekly training depending what the player did during the week.
When a player plays or traing, that player receives physical points. Training conditioning gives more physical points. Players need to achieve a certain threshold to keep his current physical state. When a players exceeds that threshold his conditioning will improve but if a players do not reach that threshold his conditioning will get worse. Notice that a player with higher conditioning needs to get more physical points every week.
Condidence works in a similar way but what is more important is playing official matches. Moreover training conditioning makes the confidence worse, as training conditioning make your players loose a bit of feeling.

Conditioning
- 50 weekly minutes of matches makes conditioning tend to 3
- 1 weekly training makes conditioning tend to 1
- 1 weekly conditioing training makes conditioning tend to 2
Confidence
- 50 minutes of official matches makes condifidence tend to 4
- 50 minutes of official matches makes condifidence tend to 5
- 1 training represents less than 10 minutes of an official match
- 1 condition training make loose some more than what is gained in a normal training
- Friendly matches count less than the half than an official match
