La competición

In OnFire, competitions are divided by country. Each team competes in a competition in your country. Each season OnFire teams compete both in League and Cup of the country.

The league

Each league is divided into two phases, a regular phase and finally the playoffs that will decide the champion of each league. Each league consists of four groups of four teams each, ie we have 16 teams per league. The resular season includes 18 matches, where each team plays two times against teams from their group (one in each arena) and one time against the other teams. Therefore, each team will always play 9 times as local and another 9 times as visitor. The one where the matches are played against teams that are not in your group is random, you will play six times as local and another 6 times as visitor. Each week you play two league games, check the schedule in your country to know the day and hour of every match.

Playoffs

Once the regular season ends, in each league the winner of every group and the next 4 best rated teams are qualified for the playoffs for the title. The latter are determined by accounting first victories and on tie the basketaverage general. Thus, each group will always have a team in the championship playoffs, but it could be the case that the four teams of a group play it

Each confrontation of the playoffs are played to best of 3 games. The winners of each group begin playing as local. The second game is played in the other arena and in case of a tie, the third and decisive game would play in the first arena. The crosses are derived from positions classified equipment, the best champion plays against the "worst" second and so on.

On the other hand, the eight worst ranked play a relegation playoff also to the best of 3 games. The losers of the qualifying descend to a lower league.

Final four

The winners of championship playoffs play the final four at a neutral arena, where the semifinals and final are played on consecutive days. The winner of the League is none other than the winner of the final four, there are only one winner in each league. That winner will ascend to a higher category next season.

Divisions

In each country, the leagues are organized by divisions, the 1st being the best division. In addition, each division can have different groups, for example, the 2nd has 4 groups and the 3rd has 8 groups.

The cup

Unlike the leagues, where there are many leagues for each country in the cup there is only one global competition where they play all teams in the country (or those who meet a minimum rating, depending on the number of teams in the country). The cup is played by a single match. At the beginning Cup matches are drawn in a lottery where there are four seeded teams (the best teams ranked in the country) and the other teams may face against any opponent, whether large or small. The draw can decide your participation in the cup. Only the matches are drawn at the start of the cup, there is no sweepstakes. In subsequent rounds matches are decided in the order of the first draw, so you can see which teams can play in subsequent rounds and antepartum against them.
